According to ESPN, tennis superstar Djokovic, former F1 driver Philip Massa and Magnusson became shareholders of Le Mans, a French Ligue 2 team.

Le Mans said in a statement that they joined the club along with other new financial investors, including Latin American sports investment firm OutField and OakBerry founder and CEO Georges Frangulis. Frangulis is the boyfriend of tennis player Sabalenka.

Le Mans Chairman Thierry Gomez said in a statement: "The uniqueness of the fund is also the investment of high-level athletes. Djokovic, Philip Masa and Kevin Magnussen will be part of this journey."

The statement did not provide financial details.

Djokovic has 24 men's singles championships in tennis, winning a total of 100 titles in his career.

Masa won 11 sub-stop championships and hit the podium 41 times in his F1 career. During his time at Ferrari, Massa was only a slight difference from the championship in 2008, and Hamilton defeated him in his last game. Hamilton eventually won the championship of the year with 98-97 points.

32-year-old Magnusson has participated in nearly 200 races in F1, winning a podium and a pole position, but Magnusson has not been renewed by Haas after his contract expired at the end of last year.

The Le Mans Club, which is celebrating its 40th anniversary, will start its new season of league tournament on August 9.
