According to Turkish media Sozcu, Istanbul reached an agreement with Shahin to officially announce coaching on Monday.
It is reported that Istanbul has reached an agreement with Shahin on the position of head coach, and the official announcement is expected next Monday, September 15.
Shahin joined the coaching staff of Antalya Sports after finishing her career, and became the team's head coach in 2021, becoming one of the youngest head coaches in Turkish Super League history. With his outstanding coaching performance, he joined Dortmund's coaching staff in 2023 and led Dortmund to 27 games as the head coach in 2024, averaging 1.48 points per game.
