River Plate Chairman talks about Mastantono: Real Madrid pays transfer fees in three installments, and the players wanted to stay until the end of the year
Riverbed Club Chairman George Brito revealed in an interview with TyC Sports reporter Juan Cortez that Real Madrid will pay Mastantono's transfer fee in installments.
He said: "Real Madrid will pay the transfer fee in three installments, paying 20 million euros in the first installment, paying 12.5 million euros in June 2026, and paying another 12.5 million euros in June 2027."
Brito then called on River Plate fans to say that if they are dissatisfied with Mastantono's departure, they should directly target him rather than the player himself: "If anyone is angry about this, please come to me."
"We failed to make Mastantono The goal to stay until the end of the year. Real Madrid has a very firm attitude, either signing now or giving up. This transfer was achieved through a clause implemented after negotiations with the player and the club, so there was an installment payment. "
"Mastantono made every effort to stay until the end of the year, and he persisted until the last moment. He helped the riverbed put pressure on his hopes to stay, which I cannot deny. We can always feel his wish because he loved the riverbed deeply."
