French media: Brazilian prosecutor formally prosecuted Paye, extramarital affair woman accused him of domestic violence + humiliation

French media RMC reported that the Brazilian prosecutor's office announced on Friday that it had formally filed a lawsuit against Payer.

38-year-old French midfielder Paye joined the Brazilian Gama Club in 2023, but the two sides terminated the contract earlier this month. In March this year, a Brazilian female lawyer Lalisa Ferrari accused Payer of "physical and psychological violence" against her during her extramarital affair, including some humiliation, such as asking her to film a video of herself drinking urine or cologne and licking the floor as a "proof of love" for Payer.

The Brazilian prosecutor's office said on Friday that "a formal lawsuit has been filed against French player Paye and handed over to the Seventh Domestic Violence Court." However, the prosecutor did not disclose more details of the indictment.

Lalisa Ferrari then said: "This is a small step, but it is also a big victory." The media also contacted Payer's attorney, but they did not respond to it. Previously, Brazilian media reported that Paye admitted to having an extramarital affair with the woman, but denied that he had committed violent acts.
