Barcelona launches new fourth jersey to pay tribute to 2005 El Clasico

Football

Barcelona’s official website announced the launch of the fourth set of jerseys to pay tribute to the 3-0 El Clasico at the Bernabeu in 2005.

Barcelona will launch a new fourth jersey this season, designed to pay tribute to a classic game in the club's history. The new kit will go on sale this Wednesday to commemorate the 3-0 victory against Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabeu on November 19, 2005. In that game, Eto'o and Ronaldinho's goals became eternal memories.

This new jersey uses a vertical stripe design, but these stripes are not a simple arrangement, but inspired by the trajectory of the three goals in that game. There are three circles on the inner collar of the jersey, marking the time of the goal: 14 minutes, 58 minutes and 77 minutes. The exterior design incorporates elements of the Catalan flag, and the pants are dark red with blue stripes on the sides.

To celebrate the fusion of football, sport and fashion, the club released a promotional video on social media shot by Rashford, Badji, Balde, Bernal, Alexia, Aitana and Ona. Developed around the concept of "football as art", it highlights those moments that cannot be expressed in words through football.

Goals are not just celebrations, but memories. Athletes created their masterpieces on the pitch, and that game was not just a game, it was a statement that "football is art."
