Ass: Democratic Congo sponsors Barcelona to promote national tourism, brand logo will appear in training suits

According to Reuters, the Central African country paid the fee to display its tourism promotional signs on some of Barcelona's training equipment, such as training suits. The sponsorship contract obtained by Reuters (signed on June 29 this year) shows that the brand logo of the Democratic Republic of Congo will appear on the backs of Barcelona men's and women's football training suits and warm-up clothes, and will also receive the rights to display club advertisements, magazines and annual reports. The 40 million euro sponsorship amount will be paid in four seasons, with about 10 million to 11.5 million euros per season.

Barca is not the only club to reach a sponsorship agreement with the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and Monaco and Milan have also signed similar agreements of varying amounts. Democratic Congo Sports Minister Didier Puddingbu told Reuters that the contract with Monaco is worth 1.6 million euros per season, while the amount of cooperation with Italian clubs is said to be as high as 14 million euros.
