forward Amin Adley has experienced many ups and downs during his four-year career at Leverkusen, including winning the Bundesliga title and serious injuries. The 25-year-old former Toulouse player has begun to rethink his future and may even leave Germany after a challenging season.

What do you think of this season?

"From the team's perspective, we achieved good results, finished second and set a new unbeaten record for away games (29 games). From the team's perspective, it was really outstanding. But we still feel a little regretful inside because we had the opportunity to cause more trouble for Bayern Munich. However, this record is very important. The Champions League defeat, the Cup semi-finals elimination and several setbacks in the league are indeed disappointing, but overall, we have a very good season."

How do you view Xavi Alonso's departure?

His departure was very difficult for us because he changed everything here. When he arrived in 2022, we had a historic season that was unreplicable. We are all recorded in history because of his arrival. He has made me improve in many ways, my playing style, thinking style, position sense and the importance of players in the team... I have also become more mature with his help, and I am grateful to him. Our relationship is very good.

Tenhach became the new coach, what do you think about this?

Everyone knows him, and he has coached many big clubs (including Ajax and Manchester United), which is no accident. While we don’t know how the collaboration with the new coach will develop, his offensive style and development of young players are well suited to Leverkusen’s policy. I have no doubts about his arrival.

With the departure of Wilz, Ta, Flynnon and Xavi Alonso, it feels like Leverkusen is at the end of a cycle. How do you view your future?

This is an extraordinary club. But after four years of ups and downs, I think it is normal to think about my future. I want to know what I want to do next, whether I should leave and try new things. This makes sense, especially when we start a new cycle. For me, the most important thing is my role on the field. I want to go back to the position of a winger or second striker, have freedom, responsibility and rhythm, and feel trust. With all this, I can have a great season and complete the final stages of my career. The departure of Wilz, Ta and Flynnon also marked the beginning of a new era. In the locker room, I was very close to them and always stayed with them. Without their team it would be very special.

There is also the African Cup held in Morocco this season, which is your motherland. Is this your primary goal?

It is for this reason that I hope to get back to my form because there is the African Cup. Participating in this event is crucial. We have to do something great for our country, and it is a priority and we cannot let our supporters down.
