World Sports: Yamal misses training due to injury, Badeji is expected to play against Valencia

The 19-year-old Swedish winger missed the previous rounds due to club salary cap restrictions, but La Liga had approved him to register as a B player last week. Badji is expected to get a chance to play in Sunday's game as Yamal missed Saturday's training due to injury.

Badji's last appearance for the first team was in the match against Valencia on August 10, when he came on as a substitute in the last 12 minutes. Prior to that, he performed well on tours in Japan and South Korea and scored a goal against Kobe Victory Ship on July 27.

Badji has been training and participating in several matches since his 5-0 victory over Como in the summer friendly, including a penalty kick against Lerida Athletic. As the captain of the Swedish U21 national team, he played 164 minutes in the U21 European Cup qualifiers against Armenia and Montenegro and successfully scored penalties twice.
