Western media: Alves recently became a missionary after he was imprisoned on sexual assault charges

According to Western media reports, Alves became a missionary after being released from prison in March this year.

Alves was previously sentenced to four and a half years in prison for sexual assault charges, but was finally acquitted by the Catalan Supreme Court in March 2024 after 14 months in prison. Recently, he appeared as an evangelist in a church in Girona, Spain, and declared: "I have made a covenant with God."
