Want to be the top card! TBR: Chelsea Tottenham is interested in Muani, but he has no intention of going to the Premier League to stay at Juventus
TBR Football chief reporter Graeme Bailey learned that Muani is currently not interested in transferring to the Premier League and he is more willing to stay at Juventus.
Although Muani prefers to stay at Juventus, Juventus only wants to make another loan deal, while Paris prefers to sell Muani directly. TBR Football learned that the middleman is working with Paris to find a solution, recommending the striker to Manchester United and Aston Villa in hopes of triggering a bidding battle against Muani.
Bailey told TBR Football: "Muani wanted to stay in Italy, which is the news that people around him have been conveyed, although Chelsea has approached and other places are interested in him. I was told that he knew Vlahovic was leaving the team, so he is likely to become Juventus' number one, which is very attractive to him."
TBR Football revealed in January that Tottenham wanted Muani, which was later confirmed by Postkoglu.
Postkoglu said: "We did...uh, it depends on what you mean by 'engagement'. We were interested and looked at some players, but did we get to the point where we thought he would join us? No."
TBR Football learned that Tottenham was still interested in Muani, so if Juventus couldn't reach an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain, the Premier League would likely be a possible destination.
Paris Saint-Germain loaned Muani to Juventus in the transfer window in January this year. He performed well at Juventus, scoring 10 goals in 20 games so far, and has even been extended by the loan period. His current value has reached 30 million euros.
