27-year-old Rashford has been seeking to leave Manchester United after ending Aston Villa's six-month loan period. On Monday, he finally got what he wanted and joined the La Liga giants Barcelona. Under the loan agreement, Barcelona can sign Rashford permanently for about £30 million next summer.

To welcome the new player, the Barcelona club held a grand dinner for him at a top restaurant in the city. The restaurant, called Amar, consumes an average of £156 per person, and a total of 18 people attended that night. It is reported that rock star Springsteen, former US President Obama and famous director Spielberg have all eaten here. The dining table serves tuna belly, prawns, crab pasta and saint paou beans, followed by wagyu beef and Galician beef, with the famous cheesecake as dessert. After the dinner, Rashford and club president Laporta took a photo with the chef and waiter, and the two looked excited about the new journey.
