Official: Girona loans Fenerbahce goalkeeper Livakovic, 1 year lease

Girona officially announced that the team signed Fenerbahce goalkeeper Livakovic on loan, with the loan period until the end of this season.

30-year-old Livakovic has accumulated rich experience in the top European stadiums before joining Girona. He debuted in NK Zagreb and completed his first appearance in the Croatian League in the 2012-13 season. He transferred to Dynamo Zagreb after playing for four seasons. During his time at this Croatian Capital Club, he played in nearly 300 official matches and won 11 trophys, becoming a key figure in domestic leagues and European competitions.

In 2023, he started a new journey to join Fenerbahce. During his time in the Turkish Super League, Livakovic played in 74 games, of which 26 remained in clean sheets.

Livakovic, known for his stable goal line technology, quick response and penalty shootout save ability, has played a key role in the Croatian national team many times. Since completing his national team debut in 2016, he has won the runner-up of the 2018 World Cup in Russia with the team, and in the 2022 Qatar World Cup, he has escorted the team to the semi-finals with many brave saves and escorted the team to the semi-finals, becoming a dazzling star in the game.
