ESPN: Deppy releases new songs and MVs, with Neymar mentioned in the lyrics and celebrated with the cup in the MVs
Corinthian striker Deppy released his new song last Friday, titled "Sao Paulo freestyle." Depp also released an MV in which he held a copy of the São Paulo State Championship trophy that Corinthians won in late March.
Depp also mentioned several well-known figures in the football world in the song. One of them is Bandeirantes TV host Neto.
Memphis teased the host at the beginning of the song: "Netto is pretending to be crazy, maybe it is a love for (football) games. Or every time he tarnishes my reputation, someone pays his bills. I think everyone has seen through his tricks."
Netto was merciless and criticized some of Depp's performance this season. Especially after the South American Liberators Cup and South American Cup were eliminated, DePe became a special target for Neto's attack.
Another name mentioned by Depp in the song is Neymar. Deppy mentioned poker, which is a hobby of Neymar. The two are friends and reunited in their first black and white derby in February this year.
Depp sang: "I can see through a poker face from afar, especially when I am with Neymar."
In the last few seconds of the MV, Depp posed in front of the Brazilian flag, holding the São Paulo State Championship trophy. Depp is also sought after by fans and takes photos with some Corinthian fans.
Depp sang: "It took six years to fight, and I'm here only six months." He refers to the championship drought that Corinthian won the São Paulo State Championship this year.
Deppé's music career became even more powerful after joining Corinthian. Depp released the songs "Put the Corinthians logo" and "Dialogue with the Slums". These songs are very popular among Corinthian fans.
On the court, Depp, wearing Corinthian's jersey, contributed 6 goals and 10 assists in 28 games this season.
