Teague: If George hadn t left the Pacers, he could have been the best player in the team history
Recently, former NBA player Jeff Teague talked about George on the "Club 520" podcast.
Tiger said: "When George refused to renew his contract with the Pacers, I asked him why he played for, and he said he wanted to win, well, see what the result is now. If he hadn't left the Pacers, he might have been greater here than Reggie Miller, who could have been the greatest Pacers."
George played for the Pacers for seven seasons, averaging 18.1 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.2 assists per game; Miller played for the Pacers for 18 seasons, averaging 18.2 points, 3 rebounds and 3 assists per game.
