NBA executive: Waiting for James to become a free agent next year, the Cavaliers Mavericks will definitely pursue him
Recently, an NBA executive talked about Lakers forward James' free agent prospects next year in an interview with the media Dallas Hoops Journal.
"The Cavaliers, Mavericks and Warriors are three teams I'm following. All three teams want to get him through trades this offseason, but he never made a deal application and he's too high. Once he becomes a free agent, these three teams will actively pursue him. I have no doubts about that," the executive said.
James is about to compete in his record-breaking career 23rd season, and he is currently in his final year of his contract with the Lakers, worth $52.6 million. He will be a free agent next summer.
