Nowitzki said: "When I was about to retire, my first thought was to enter the management of Dallas. I thought it was natural. In the last few years, I started to prepare, including participating in the draft process, but the daily work of the management was unacceptable to me.
"You basically don't have a summer, unlike players who can get 4 months of rest.
