NBA officially announced today that the 2026 All-Stars will start a new competition format of Team USA VS Team World!
2 American teams and 1 World Team (each team has 8 All-Stars) will participate in the intra-group round-robin competition, with a total of 4 games, each of 12 minutes.
The specific competition format is as follows:
In the round-robin competition, Team A and Team B will compete in the first game. The winner of the first game will face Team C in the second game, and then the loser of the first game will face Team C in the third game.
After the third game, the two teams with the best records will advance to the championship game (the fourth game). If all three teams achieve a record of 1 win and 1 loss after the third game, the qualifications will be determined by each team's point difference between the two games in the round robin.
