Today is the 40th birthday of former NBA player JR Smith, let's wish him a happy birthday.
JR was born in Ferryhold, New Jersey, USA on September 9, 1985. In the 2004 NBA Draft, JR was selected by the Hornets at the 18th pick in the first round. JR played for teams such as the Hornets, Nuggets, Knicks, Cavaliers and Lakers in NBA career. He was elected the sixth man in the 2012-13 season, won the NBA championship with the Cavaliers in the 2015-16 season, and won the NBA championship with the Lakers in the 2019-20 season.
JR played 977 games in the NBA, scoring 12,148 points, averaging 12.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1 steal per game, with a shooting percentage of 41.9/37.3/73.3% in three events.
On September 14, 2011, JR officially completed the signing of Zhejiang Chouzhou Bank, moved to the CBA, and was selected into the CBA All-Star starting lineup in 2012.
Because of his gorgeous style of play, strong scoring explosive power, and his repeated unreasonable actions on and off the court, JR also received the nickname "Neuro Knife".
