According to "Hoops Wire" reporter Sam Amico, an NBA scout talked about Ben Simmons and Westbrook who have not signed with any team in an interview.

"I like these two players, and I think they can help. But to be honest, now they can only get a basic salary contract at most. There is too limited things they can do," the scout said.

Another scout said: "You have to understand that it is not 2017 or 2019. If Westbrook or Simmons doesn't have a team, it's not a big deal. You can find younger and cheaper similar players in the league. This is not for individuals, but everyone will get older. Some serious problems with Simmons can never be changed. So, why not give others a chance?"

Sam Amico has emphasized many times that he suspects Westbrook and Bency are still ignored in December or January. The first scout agreed with this, saying: "It is indeed possible that it will be delayed for so long. Obviously, no team is in a hurry to sign them, and I can fully understand this."
