Recently, NBA legend Mickey Richmond talked about his experience of joining the Lakers on the show "Byron Scott 's Fast Break".
Richmond said: "Old Nelson was in Dallas at the time, and he wanted me to reunite with him. But I thought the Lakers had already won the championship back to back, so before I left the league, I needed a ring, and I decided to come to the Lakers."
Richmond was selected by the Warriors in 1988 and was elected as the Rookie of the Year in the rookie season. He won the championship with the Lakers in 2002. He was selected as the second team of the NBA All-Series 3 times, 6 times, and was selected into the Basketball Hall of Fame in 2014.
