Curry was asked in an interview whether the three core players in the team were all over 35 years old (Curry, Butler, Dream Chasing), and whether the team still had the ability to compete for the championship.
In response to this, Curry said: "We will know, I think we can. I know where we were last season, especially for the remaining 1/3 of the season after the trade deadline, we were in the top three of the league's offense and defense. It's obvious that we need to stay healthy and maintain a high level in the regular season. But I like the foundation we built at the end of last season, and hopefully we can turn that foundation into the new season. I know that because of our age, we will be asked this question many times.
